Rounds always fixed to 29000 with pbkdf2_sha256 ?

I am sorry if this is my fault, what is wrong here?
In [4]: pbkdf2_sha256(rounds=2000, salt=b'abcdefghijk').hash("very secrte")
Out[4]: '$pbkdf2-sha256$29000$KyVkLCUEQEjJuZfyfm/tXQ$kEJc7YGpYUf7wd59aS.M3Vz0QCSCma7qHLtlHoiGmW8'
In [5]: pbkdf2_sha256(rounds=2000, salt=b'abcdefghijk').hash("very secret")
Out[5]: '$pbkdf2-sha256$29000$LmVMaW3tXau1NuYcw3hvTQ$/Ckji4PQiFpI3zHyJ3.rVpMD33VIPj.FrS1gHJiF89M'
In [6]: pbkdf2_sha256(rounds=12000, salt=b'abcdefghijk').hash("very secret")
Out[6]: '$pbkdf2-sha256$29000$YgyBkNJ6j7H23puzllIKgQ$ohHDyLpiUKYMlsMFh6pzMi/HTqiZ0.5owtnQ1SfE5sQ'
The repesentation of this hash is always containing 29000 as the number of rounds, so it seems the parameter rounds isn’t being accepted or it is being ignored. Or … I am using the library in a totally wrong way.
Is this a bug or a feature or a me?
