Make website easily translatable
Our website currently is in English (primary language) and Germany. Anyhow it's cumbersome to keep the German translation up to date and if text diverges, visitors can not spot that fact.
So we ought to find a better solution.

pelican static-site generator uses the same mechanism as nikola, what we use nowand which rendered unsuitable.

Other projects use
gettext
for translating the texts (e.g. guix). This approach has the benefit of showing the current primary language text if some text is not yet translated - instead of showing the outdated translated text. -
sphinx supports this kind of internationalization, to. Maybe there are others.

Find a template suitable for websites and adjust it to your needs -
Find some translation service to be used. Would be cool if we could use the one driven by the Tryton foundation and hopefully attract Tryton translators. -
Convert the current web-site -
Establish and document an automated translation process.
