rhgitaly --version
Currently, the way to display RHGitaly version is to run it without the needed environment variables for actual startup. It will panic, but before that it will dump the version in the console log:
~/heptapod/hdk/dev-1.0/hgitaly/rust $ target/release/rhgitaly
2024-02-14T18:52:16.975229Z INFO rhgitaly: RHGitaly starting, version 1.0.1dev0
2024-02-14T18:52:16.975252Z INFO rhgitaly: WRITE_BUFFER_SIZE=131072
thread 'main' panicked at 'RHGITALY_REPOSITORIES_ROOT not set in environment', rhgitaly/src/config.rs:23:18
note: run with `RUST_BACKTRACE=1` environment variable to display a backtrace
This was good enough, but now something less confusing is in order. Should be rhgitaly --version
.
